Lotus STEMM “Put Your Head Down” now online

At Hatch Studios, we had the privilege of bringing this powerful story to life in close collaboration with the Lotus STEMM team.

Partnering on the Assume We Can project, funded by WAGE / FEGC, deepened our conviction in the power of animation and AI-assisted storytelling to translate complex, human-centered research into meaningful visual narratives. Our mission was to build a world grounded entirely in the lived realities of South Asian women facing challenges in the workplace.

At the center of the animation is Anika, a character shaped by that collective research.

Anika does everything right. She works hard, delivers results, and stays patient. Yet her story confronts the viewer with a vital question: what will it truly take for her to move from merely surviving to genuinely thriving?

Bringing Anika’s journey to the screen for the Reimagining Workplace Journeys workshop represents the core of what we strive to do. Animation provides an empathetic lens for story-based learning, helping leaders visualize the subtle assumptions that shape daily workplace decisions, and inspiring them to act differently.
