Hatch Studios created a 3D animated explainer video showcasing Paul Brown’s innovative Port-A-Barrel rainwater collection system. Port-A-Barrel is a patented Canadian and patent-pending US portable rain water barrel with an accompanying garden sprayer that automatically refills upon docking. This system eliminates common inconveniences such as low water pressure, long garden hoses, and frequent trips for refilling heavy watering cans. Using a combination of 3D animation and clean, modern motion graphics, Hatch Studios was able to develop an easy-to-understand animated video which thoroughly explains the process.

This project was animated in 3ds Max, rendered with Redshift, and composited with After Effects.
