Bick's
"BBQ"
Completed March 1, 2006

This is the second of three spots produced by Hatch Studios Ltd. for Ogilvy & Mather. It features an alien documentarian exposing the cruel ways in which humans treat pickles. The spots are quite humorous in the sense that they are so absurd in nature.

  • A small, green alien with a mischievous expression stands on a shaded rooftop, holding a twig. A wooden fence and lush garden are visible behind.
  • Woman smiling while holding a pickle on a fork. She wears a striped sleeveless top, a necklace, and a ring. The scene has a casual, outdoor setting.

The alien was modeled and textured using ZBrush, rigged and animated in 3dsmax 8.0, and rendered with VRay 1.47.03. It was composited with After Effects.
