Owned and managed by Creative Director Richard Rosenman, the Hatch team has extensive experience working in a broad range of mediums, including television, broadcast, interactive media, web, film, and print. Hatch works with clients locally, nationally, in the U.S. and internationally. Its variety of reputable clients include Ford, American Express, GMC, Conagra, Disney, IBM, RBC, and The Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Founded in 2006 and conveniently located in downtown Toronto, Hatch Studios offers a variety of services, identified to fit the specific needs and budget of each client.

One of Canada’s leading animation creative directors, Richard Rosenman has earned a reputation in identifying innovative approaches in blending the strategic, creative and technical components of digital media. With over two decades of animation and motion graphics experience, Richard delivers exceptional work, exceeding clients’ expectations on a daily basis.

Richard graduated in 1996 from Sheridan College, with a Diploma in Classical Animation. His career has led him to work in Vancouver, San Francisco and the local Toronto area for respected studios such as Topix and Red Rover Studios, where he ran the 3D department and gained international attention for his broadcast work. Richard has also taught for numerous years at various schools including the International Academy of Design and more recently, Centennial College. In 2006 Richard launched Hatch Studios.
