Ryan Priest from Pixelcarve approached Hatch Studios to develop an animated website intro for their client, Dumas Mining. The resulting animation features a sophisticated look coupled with heavy depth of field effects in order to create a captivating introduction. The video required smooth and dynamic camera work so as to gently lead the viewer from the initial Dumas mining image to a high-tech 3D model of the mineshaft. The final video was used as a looping website background animation hosting HTML overlays.

This project was created with After Effects and Element 3D. Heavy depth of field effects were used within Element 3D and color processing in After Effects.
